About Jennifer Park

Jennifer, the owner and director of Lodestone Academy, is a seasoned educational supervisor with a rich background spanning eight years. Holding a coveted Child Development Site Supervisor permit, she exemplifies the highest standards set by California, ensuring top-tier care and education for all students.

Driven by a fervor for fostering student success, Jennifer is dedicated to crafting innovative educational initiatives. She's adept at guiding students of diverse ages and abilities, offering unwavering support and mentorship to unlock their fullest potential.

Embarking on a new chapter, Jennifer joins forces with Sydney to establish an enriching environment tailored for preschoolers. Together, they're crafting a holistic program integrating yoga, mindfulness, meditation, affirmations, and sensory activities. This initiative aims to empower young children with essential skills for transitioning, focusing, and adapting to their surroundings, nurturing their confidence and resilience as they mature.

As a mother to twice-exceptional school-aged children (ages 11 and 14) and with a lifelong involvement in early childhood education since her high school days, Jennifer brings a wealth of firsthand experience. She's embraced holistic methods, incorporating practices like breathing with reiki, kundalini yoga, and transcendental meditation, witnessing their transformative effects firsthand. Passionate about holistic well-being, literature, travel, and multilingualism (she's trilingual!), Jennifer delights in sharing her vast knowledge and experiences with others.

However, her true passion lies in mentorship and collaboration, providing young individuals with the tools and opportunities they need to flourish on their unique paths. As a visionary leader at Lodestone Academy, Jennifer is committed to creating an environment where each child can thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

About Sydney Diamond

Sydney Diamond is a multidisciplinary performance and teaching artist based out of Los Angeles, CA. She graduated summa cum laude with her BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield, where she studied early childhood psychology and development, alongside somatic practices such as pilates, Franklin method, yoga, anatomy and more. Sydney has been a dance and movement educator for over a decade, sharing her knowledge with studios and after school programs around the country. Most notably she was a mentor at ZZDance in Cherry Hill, NJ where she developed a Parent & Me curriculum for children aged 15 months to 3 years, focused on developing bodily awareness, enhancing concentration, and creating a jumpstart on early learning using the alphabet as a guide to the world. She also fostered an after school movement and mindfulness program at ConnectPlus Therapy, helping kids on the spectrum find freedom and expression through movement. Currently, Sydney is the Performance Company director at Brentwood Academy of Dance and an educator for their recreational dance program, Dance For Kids, training dancers aged 15 months to 18 years. She is also a founding guide at Kinrgy West Hollywood, a dance and wellness brand founded by Julianne Hough in 2018. Through Sitting Like a Frog, Sydney looks forward to combining her teaching experience with her knowledge of movement and mindfulness, to create a one of a kind preschool program empowering kids to better understand their mind, body, and energy as they grow!
